 Central Europe Rally : Richard Kaye - Midday Day 6.

A frustrated Richard Kaye rings in after the first special of Day 6. The body count is mounting, and Richard's seen quite a few riders crash out right in front of him. Additionally, there have been some irregularities with the GPS waypoints (which Jonah Street and other front runners are all too aware of). Through scrutineering, Richard Kaye checks in from Budapest (as only he can!). Looks like much of the field will be running 450 machinery, which with the muddy conditions, may be the ticket to the podium.

Richard's spent the entire afternoon going through scrutineering, but has made it through without a hitch. The bike is now in Parc Ferme, so nothing left but to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere until the start! Cheers, Richard!

 Richard Kaye - Departing for Lisbon.

Richard is packed, and departing his home in Italy enroute to Lisbon for the start of the Dakar, 2008. Some of his travel documents have not yet been returned, but he hopes to have that cleared up by Monday. No time to spare! Travel safe, Richard, and we'll look forward to hearing from you from Lisbon.
